Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 by CDC Armour Collection (later Franklin Mint) in the colour scheme of legendary Luftwaffe Ace Oberst Werner Molders' - JG51 Eastern Front 1941.
A substantial and heavy weight die cast metal model with some plastic parts.
A pre-owned model taken in as part of a larger collection of aviation items. This model spent some time in a glass display cabinet before being boxed and put into storage. The model is in excellent condition with one fault - one of the propeller blades has broken off and is missing - needs to be replaced, probably with a suitable part from a plastic kit. The fault is reflected in the price - this is a rare model and a fault free example would be £80 - 100. Also included is an optional centre line drop tank.
The original box is in one piece but is a bit tatty with damage at the corners.
These larger Armour Collection / Franklin Mint pieces are getting hard to find now, they look impressive when displayed, particularly as part of a collection.
For transit the original box will be packed securely inside a bigger postal box.
