Classic airliner aviation art Christmas card featuring Air Force One. One of the most important historical aircraft in the world, this custom built Boeing 707, Special Air Mission 26000, entered service as the lead aircraft of the presidential fleet in 1962. During its operational lifetime it was used by many dignitaries, senior White House staff and presidents including Robert F Kennedy, Lyndon B Johnson, Richard M Nixon and Gerald R Ford. The aircraft remained operational until its retirement in 1998 and is now preserved at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
