Original pencil drawing on archival quality toned paper with colour highlights featuring a British European Airways Douglas DC-3 in the late 1940s.
The Douglas DC-3 revolutionised air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Civil and military versions were produced and many are still operating today. BEA operated many Douglas DC-3s, later naming them Pionairs, between its formation in 1946 and disposal of the last in May 1963.
This drawing is presented professionally triple mounted using high quality acid free conservation mount board and is ready to frame for display.
