Moonlight Hunter by Nicolas Trudgian features a Ju88 G-6 Nightfighter intercepting RAF Lancasters.
A Junkers Ju88 G-6, piloted by major Paul Zorner, Gruppenkommandeur III./NJG100, based at Stubendorf, intercepts and badly damages a Lancaster of RAF Bomber Command over Germany in late 1944. Shedding debris and trailing flames, there may just be time for the crew to bale out before the mighty bomber falls away into the dark abyss.
Each print in Nicolas Trudgian's Limited Edition, Moonlight Hunter, is signed by the Kommandeur of II/NJG 100, Knight's Cross holder Major Paul Zorner, one of the great night-fighter Aces of the Luftwaffe during World War Two.
Published in 2001 this print sold out some time ago and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Condition: this print has a noticeable crease in the top white border, almost in the left hand corner. It is about 1 cm long and is on the edge of the print, it would be concealed by framing. It is otherwise perfect with strong 'as new' colours, having never been framed and having been stored flat and dark at room temperature. It comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity. Normal price for a perfect example of this print would be £125.
The fault would be difficult to show properly in a photograph - however the print is covered by our 'No Quibble Guarantee' so if its not as you expected you can return it for a full refund.
