A selection of over fifty aviation paintings by popular UK artist Robin Smith. Accompanying each painting featured is a description by the artist giving insight into the aircraft depicted and the thought processes and techniques used to create the final artwork. A number of supporting sketches and photos are also included. The majority of subjects are from World War II but there also plenty from World War I and the post-war and modern eras. The foreword has been written by Squadron Leader Clive Rowley MBE, former RAF fighter pilot and Officer Commanding the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
