Wakeup Call by Robert Bailey features Fw190s of JG3 attacking an Allied airfield.
January 1st 1945 - fuel bowsers explode amongst parked Typhoons as Staffelkapitan Siegfried Mueller and his wingman Feldwebel Oskar Bösch of IV/JG3 lead a surprise strafing attack on the Allied aerodrome at Eindhoven, Holland.
Robert Bailey's Limited Edition, Wakeup Call, is signed by:
Feldwebel Oskar Bösch
In total Oskar Bösch was credited with eighteen victories. He recorded eight victories over the Eastern front, including one Il-2 Sturmovik. Of his 10 victories recorded over the Western front, eight were four-engine bombers such as the B-17 and B-24. He was shot down eight times, had four bail outs, and four crash-landings.
Condition: this print has a very soft handing kink in the left hand border. It also has a number of very small marks in the right hand border - these are all small, mostly under 1 mm, and not immediately noticeable unless you examine the area closely. It is otherwise excellent with strong 'as new' colours, having never been framed and having been stored flat and dark at room temperature.
It comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity but it is missing the Companion Print it was originally issued with, a pencil drawing featuring Me109s of JG5.
This print sold out some time ago and is now only available on the secondary market. Normal price for a perfect example of this print would be around £170-200.
The faults would be difficult to show in a photograph - however the print is covered by our 'No Quibble Guarantee' so if its not as you expected you can return it for a full refund.
