Standard Service
Under normal circumstances we aim to ship within 2 working days of receiving an order. In most cases for smaller items, such as greetings cards, Royal Mail Second Class post is used which in our experience takes an additional 2 to 3 working days - sometimes a little longer in peak periods such as before Christmas. For most of our customers this sort of timeframe is acceptable and it helps keep postage costs down as low as possible. For larger items we may use a courier such as UPS or ParcelForce - the delivery times will be about the same though. If you are in a hurry you may want to use our Priority Service.

Priority Service
First of all we move your order to the top of our queue and we then ship using Royal Mail First Class, or a next day courier such as ParcelForce 24, depending on the size of the order. In most cases shipments will be received within 3 workings days of placing your order online - often less. This is not absolutely guaranteed though - if you need Guaranteed Special Delivery then please give us a call, this will cost extra.
If you have paid for Priority Service but circumstances mean we are not able to give faster shipping, but you still wish to go ahead with the order anyway, then we will refund the difference between the Priority Service and the Standard Service.

Unexpected Delays
If for any reason there is a delay, for example if an item is out of stock, then we will let you know and give you the option to change or cancel your order.

Accepting Delivery of Parcels
Your delivery is insured. In some cases, usually depending on the value of the order, you may be asked to sign for the parcel upon delivery. In these cases, for the insurance to be valid, it is important that you examine the parcel carefully before signing for it. You do not have to unwrap it but if there are any external indications of damage such as holes, bending or signs of having been wet, then make a note of this against your signature so it is put on record with the delivery company.
Important: for us to be able to claim on your behalf for transit damage or any other issues with your order we must be advised of any problems within 5 days of your receipt of the package.

Limited Edition Prints
These are usually shipped in a stout tube. They can though be shipped flat against a backing board and with a clear cello wrap - there is a small extra charge for this, usually £7-£9 depending on the print size, please contact us at the time of ordering if it is of interest.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE UK
Please contact us before ordering and we will quote the best price we can find depending on the weight, size, value and urgency of your order. International shipping charges have gone up considerably in recent times - we will check through all our delivery options to find the best possible rate.

Valid Overseas Shipping Destinations
We ship regularly to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Insurance and Tracking
Your package is insured and a signature may be required upon receipt. Most are tracked but this can vary by country.

Delivery Times
After agreeing shipping charges we will give an estimate for delivery times based on what we are advised by our shippers. This will not be a guaranteed service in terms of delivery times but in our experience the timings are generally reliable. Whilst they are largely accurate, delays can happen, for example, by postal disputes, severe weather or by parcels being held up in customs. Delivery times can also be extended at busy times, particularly Christmas, so it is advisable to order in plenty of time. In all of these cases there is nothing we can do about any delay once the order is shipped and we only accept overseas orders on this understanding.

Framed Items Overseas
Unfortunately we cannot ship framed cards, prints or signature ensembles overseas, there is a high risk of breakages. In any case the extra weight of the frame itself and the extra packaging needed would increase the shipping cost considerably. It is likely to be much cheaper to buy a frame locally. Most mounted items we have are cut so they will fit directly into standard sized, ready made frames that are widely available.
