British Airways Airbus A318 landing in difficult weather conditions on Christmas Eve.
The Airbus A318 entered service in 2003, the smallest of the A320 family it was nicknamed the 'Baby Bus', in total 80 aircraft were sold.
Two A318s were acquired by British Airways, they were used mainly to provide a daily, high-end, premium transatlantic service to New York operating out of London City Airport, targeted at customers that would have previously used the recently retired Concorde. This service continued up until 2020 when the A318 was retired.
