In a similar depiction of farming in WWII to our other card, “Fingers Crossed”, we see Land Army girls and farmhands at work with their Fordson tractor while an American airman shows the friendly nature for which they became known.
The counties of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk will forever be associated with the 8th and 9th Air Forces of the USAAF and here were see two B-17s, the famous Flying Fortress, probably just heading out
