Superb Lockheed F-104C Starfighter by CDC Armour Collection (later Franklin Mint) in the makings of US Air Force aircraft, 70295 'Smoke II' of the 479th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Udorn Air Force Base in 1966 during the Vietnam war.
A substantial and heavy weight die cast metal model with some plastic parts.
A pre-owned model taken in as part of a larger collection of aviation items. This model has never been displayed. The model is in perfect 'as new' condition. The original box is overall sound put has a number of dings, tears and marks..
These larger Armour Collection / Franklin Mint pieces are getting hard to find now, they look impressive when displayed and would be a fine gift for an aviation enthusiast.
For transit the original box will be packed securely inside a bigger postal box.
