Superb McDonnell Douglas F-18 Hornet by CDC Armour Collection (later Franklin Mint) in US Navy Top Gun training school 'aggressor' markings featuring a special three-tone desert camouflage.
A substantial and heavy weight die cast metal model with some plastic parts.
A pre-owned model taken in as part of a larger collection of aviation items. We believe it has never been displayed, or if so only briefly. The model is in perfect 'as new' condition. The original box is good but not perfect, the top has some mild buckling and there is evidence of a price sticker in the top right corner.
These larger Armour Collection / Franklin Mint pieces are getting hard to find now, they look impressive when displayed and would be a nice gift for an aviation enthusiast.
For transit the original box will be packed securely inside a bigger postal box.
