Superb Grumman F-14 Tomcat by Franklin Mint (previously CDC Armour Collection) in US Navy 'Jolly Rogers' squadron markings, flying from the USS Nimitz. VF-84, the Jolly Rogers, was one of the US Navy's most famous squadrons - its distinctive markings including the iconic skull and crossbones on the aircraft tail.

A substantial and heavy weight die cast metal model with some plastic parts.

A pre-owned model taken in as part of a larger collection of aviation items. This model was displayed briefly but has spent most of its time boxed and in storage. The model is in exceptional condition. The original box is quite good but with some imperfections. The original internal packaging retaining screws are missing, the model will be well secured in transit by the custom formed polystyrene pieces but care should be taken when opening.

These larger Franklin Mint pieces are getting hard to find now, they look very impressive when displayed and would be a nice gift for an aviation enthusiast.

For transit the original box will be packed securely inside a bigger postal box.

Once packed up securely for international shipping this model will be quite large and heavy which will be reflected in the shipping charges. For the USA the shipping cost is likely to be over £100 and on top of that there may be import duties from US Customs - we have no control over these. For most north Europe locations expect around £30 shipping plus again possible import duties.
