Superb Lockheed F-104C Starfighter by CDC Armour Collection (later Franklin Mint) in the makings of US Air Force aircraft, 70295 'Smoke II' of the 479th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Udorn Air Force Base in 1966 during the Vietnam war.
A substantial and heavy weight die cast metal model with some plastic parts.
A pre-owned model taken in as part of a larger collection of aviation items. This model was displayed briefly in a glass cabinet before being boxed and put into storage. The model is in excellent condition. The original box is in overall exceptionally good condition with just a few minor imperfections.

These larger Armour Collection / Franklin Mint pieces are getting hard to find now, they look impressive when displayed and would be a fine gift for an aviation enthusiast.
For transit the original box will be packed securely inside a bigger postal box.

Once packed up securely for international shipping this model will be quite large and heavy which will be reflected in the shipping charges. For the USA the shipping cost is likely to be over £60 and on top of that there may be import duties from US Customs - we have no control over these.
